Window Cleaning FAQs

We operate on a regular 6 weekly round.

Our method of cleaning involves using a water fed pole system cleaning your windows with 100% pure water. Once cleaned, your windows are left to dry naturally leaving a streak free and spot free finish

We currently do not offer internal cleaning.

Yes in most cases. In case of severe weather, such as heavy snow or high winds, you will be notified if we have to reschedule. Our cleans are covered by a rainy day guarantee. If your not happy with your clean after we have visited then please let us know within 24 hours and we will return free of charge to clean the affected area.

Please refer to our Prices page on the website for a list of all the services we offer and the cost. If your property is bespoke or larger than the average then please fill in our sign up form, select “other” as your property type, along with photos uploaded of the outsides of your property so we can send you an accurate quote.

We operate all year round for all of the services we provide.

Customers on our 4 weekly rounds are signed up to our GoCardless direct debit. All info and setup can be found on our Payments page.

If you are not a regular customer we can offer our one off services such as Gutter Clearance, Gutter/Fascias/Soffits Wash, Conservatory Cleaning etc. This must be paid via Card/Bank Transfer within 7 days of your clean using the details on your invoice sent to you via email/text after your clean has been completed.

If we are unable to gain access, we will clean the windows that we can access and you will be charged full price. If this happens too regularly then we will advise you to switch to fronts only as your regular clean and charge a fronts only price moving forward.

If we are unable to gain access to the rear of your property we will be able to offer a “fronts only” clean. Due to insurance liabilities, we will not be able to climb fences or trail hoses through customers houses. We can use garages as access as long as there is a clear route to the rear of your property.

However, we do not offer one off window cleans, by using our services you agree to a minimum of 2 cleans. If cancelling before 2 cleans have taken place the remaining cleans will be payable.

GoCardless Direct Debit FAQs

GoCardless process Direct Debit payments on behalf of Mr Squeegee Window Cleaning. We use Direct Debits for customers on our regular 6 or 12 weekly rounds.

No you will only be charged 3-5 days after each successful clean.

Unfortunately not, all our customers now are signed up to Direct Debit, we no longer accept cash/bank transfers/cheques for our regular customers. The reason for this is to ensure payments are made on time and in a safe and secure way. There is no need to do anything once setup and you are fully protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee.

If you are one of our regular customers and wish to book in one of our other services too such as Gutter Cleaning, Conservatory Cleaning, you will be invoiced accordingly and the payment will be included on your next direct debit payment.

You are free to cancel the direct debit at any time with your bank. If you are leaving us then just let us know and we will cancel this mandate for you as part of the process. If you still have an on-going service with us, we will need to put your account on hold until we setup another direct debit mandate.

Direct Debit is the simplest, safest and most convenient way to make regular or recurring payments; that’s why it’s used for things like council tax and utility bills.

No. We will only process a payment after each successful clean. So if your clean is rescheduled or delayed for any reason you will not be charged.
